And Finally ...
Bedfordshire and Luton Local Resilience Forum - request for Community Resilience Champions from BLEVEC members
BLLRF has commissioned a Community Resilience Project to facilitate and support community groups to develop emergency plans and
has formed a partnership with the Scouts who will take forward community resilience in parish and ward areas.
BLLRF is looking for volunteers to be trained up as Community Resilience Champions. You will be paired with one or
more Scout groups in your area of choice to be their point of contact and help provide the community emergency groups that
are set-up with training.
Anyone who volunteers will be provided a half-day ‘train the trainer’ session on community resilience to ensure you are happy and
capable to deliver the role.
It is unknown what the demand for this service will be, but it not expected to be large.
Please contact
Mark Conway,
Community Resilience Project Manager, for more information or to volunteer.
