Introducing The Anne Frank Trust UK (Val Ross)
As the British partner of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, The Anne Frank Trust UK has nearly 20 years of experience of
delivering hard-hitting educational and community based programmes. We regularly receive extremely strong feedback that our work makes
a tangible difference to breaking down barriers, challenging stereotypes and to providing opportunities to explore and celebrate difference.
Wherever we work we aspire to make a positive and relevant contribution. We are committed to partnership and collaboration.
The success and effectiveness of our programmes relies on responding to local need and local issues.
It is important to the Trust that the direction and content of programmes is shaped by the people that live and
work in the region. How can you help?
The Anne Frank Trust UK plans to develop this programme to areas most in
need across the UK over the next three years. We need your help locally to achieve this. You can help us achieve our
objectives through supporting us in the following areas: 1. Get the programme started: Set up a regional steering
committee to help attract the resources (funding, venue, people & logistics) to bring an Anne Frank programme
(including an exhibition) into your area of need.
2. Spread the word: Speak to your local schools, colleges,
universities and youth organisations and local MP’s about supporting and working with the Anne Frank Trust.
3.
Invite: ask the Anne Frank Trust to speak at an event or talk to the Anne Frank Trust education team about delivering
our unique and acclaimed cohesion and equality training in your place of work, school, college or organisation.
“We draw on the power of Anne Frank’s life and diary to challenge prejudice and reduce hatred, encouraging people to
embrace positive attitudes, responsibility and respect for others.”
